Hurricane to be Gold Sponsor at NeX eCommerce’s OPENeX 2024

Hurricane Commerce has signed up to be a Gold Sponsor at this year’s NeX OPENeX conference.

The conference, now in its second year, is taking place in Hong Kong between September 16-18. Hurricane will also be exhibiting with NeX at the China International Logistics Fair in Shenzhen between September 23-25.

The OPENeX event brings together senior leaders from across the eCommerce supply chain eco-system including carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, retailers and marketplaces with a focus on the adoption of best-in-class tech solutions.

Hurricane was one of the founder members of NeX and our data solutions are used by many of its members to power their success in global trade.

OPENeX and the China International Logistics Fair come at an important time for the global trade supply chain.

With a digital-first approach becoming the norm and increasing regulatory pressures, getting your data right at source is vital to smooth the wheels of cross-border trade.

Martyn Noble, CEO of Hurricane Commerce, said: “We are delighted to be supporting the OPENeX event as a Gold Sponsor and to also be attending the China International Logistics Fair in Shenzhen.

“Success in modern global trade depends on getting your data right at source, enabling the data to accompany the physical and fiscal flow of goods across borders for multiple stakeholders.

“The requirement for complete, accurate and valid data sets is increasing, driven by national and regional governmental policy and the need for governmental taxation revenues to be collected quickly and effectively.

“Every day, tens of millions of shipments move across borders. The old way of doing things is no longer good enough.

“That is why customers on six continents depend on Hurricane’s AI-driven automated data solutions to power their global trade.”

Hurricane will be showcasing its unique all-in-one Kona API at OPENeX which allows customers to use the functionality it needs when it needs it.

Kona is the only product of its kind to include data validation, duty and tax calculation, prohibited and restricted goods screening and denied parties screening.

Kona is scalable enabling you to handle high volumes without impacting speed or increasing your overheads. You are also future proofing your business, setting it on a proven path for success in global trade.
