Our Story
We have built a business that meets the cross-border data requirements of customers across the world.
In 2016, our six founders, with over 250 years’ combined experience in logistics and eCommerce, came together to create Hurricane Commerce.
Cross-border eCommerce was growing at unprecedented levels, presenting vast opportunities for retailers, brands, marketplaces, carriers, postal operators and everyone else in the end-to-end supply chain.
Ensuring the smooth movement of parcels from one destination to another required true AI-driven, real-time data solutions.
But the scale of growth, along with increasing regulation, would mean that the old ways of working were no longer good enough.
Hurricane has since become the world-leader in the field of cross-border data covering the areas of product classification, duty and tax calculation, prohibited and restricted goods screening and denied parties screening.
