Hurricane Commerce co-founder David Spottiswood has been invited to take part in the Leaders in Logistics Summit 2021.
The prestigious half-day event is being held at Grosvenor House in Dubai on December 7.
The summit attracts more than 120 senior logistics and supply chain professionals from the Middle East’s largest and most successful companies.
The event brings together CEOs, COOs, senior logistics and supply chain experts and policymakers to discuss and deliberate the challenges and opportunities shaping the future of the sector in the Middle East.
David, who was one of the founders of Hurricane in 2016, will be on the panel discussing ‘eComm’s new fulfilment models – data focused, experimental and technologically advanced’.
A key theme for the event will be how the logistics industry can “grow with the flow” in the post-pandemic world.
David, who was previously Global Head of Operations for DHL Express, said: “I am looking forward to taking part in this high-profile event and contributing to the conversation about the future of logistics in the Middle East.
“I am delighted that the importance of AI-driven, real-time data solutions is firmly on the agenda.”
Hurricane has a growing customer database in the Middle East region including Emirates Post, one of the most innovative and ambitious postal operators seeking to become a leader in cross-border eCommerce.
