Avoid Fines

Avoiding delays and fines for your retailer customers caused by customs non-compliance.

Provide DPD Solution

Add Value

Enabling your business to deliver additional international value-add services to your retailer customer base.
CMS Benefits

Partnering with a CMS is of critical importance for Tier 1 & 2 retailers.

Some of the larger retailers are now choosing to spread their risk by working with more than one CMS. The solutions provided vary from CMS to CMS but typically include the provision of multiple delivery options, the management of orders in one place, printing shipping labels and transport documents, tracking notifications and various analytics.

As a result of the sector becoming more crowded, CMS are increasingly seeking to add functionality to their platforms, for example in the areas of returns, post-check out experience and enhancing their international offer.

SECTOR
PAIN POINTS

Ensuring that retailers can provide their end consumers with the best possible experience, regardless of whether the consumer is based in the home market or abroad.
The need for valid and verifiable data throughout the end-to-end supply chain and, particularly, at the customs entry point.
Customs friction and risk of the carrier imposing large surcharges for resolving customs data problems.
Incomplete data resulting in holding charges, the need for manual rectification and, ultimately, delays in the goods reaching the end consumer.
Inability to provide online retailers with the option to offer their customers a Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) solution.

Data compliance failings around regulatory events including Brexit, the EU’s abolition of the VAT threshold on low value items, the introduction of the Import One-Stop Shop (IOSS), the US STOP Act, Type86 clearance requirements and the Import Control System 2 (ICS2).
