Hurricane has become a Partner with the Patchworks platform for eCommerce.
Patchworks brings together partners which are able to provide retailers and brands with best-in-class technologies to enable them to successfully scale their eCommerce operations.
Patchworks customers include Gymshark, Huel, Sophie Allport, Emma Bridgewater and HermanMiller.
Among other key partners of Patchworks is SEKO Logistics, a key Hurricane customer.
Founded in 2014, Patchworks responded to the explosion in eCommerce and the increasingly complex IT infrastructures required by retailers and brands.
Oliver Watts, Chief Operating Officer of Hurricane, said: “We are delighted to have been selected to be a partner of Patchworks. Their platform is making a real difference to the growth journeys of some of the UK and Europe’s best loved brands.
“Major regulatory changes during 2021, including Brexit, the EU’s abolition of the VAT exemption on low-value goods and the introduction of the Import One-Stop Shop (IOSS) means that businesses wanting to succeed in cross-border eCommerce need to harness best-in-class data solutions.”
Hurricane’s Zephyr API is a data enhancement tool that ensures that goods have the mandatory complete and accurate product descriptions, HS6 codes and import and export codes to pass smoothly through customs.
Hurricane’s Aura API supports customers with the three critical cross-border areas of duty and tax calculation, prohibited and restricted goods screening and denied parties screening.
