4PX selected Hurricane as its data partner for cross-border eCommerce following a period of rigorous testing.
The company, China’s leading eCommerce logistics provider, is using Zephyr, Hurricane’s AI-driven, real-time data enhancement solution to ensure that product descriptions, HS6 codes and import and export codes are complete and accurate.
China is one of the countries most affected by the increasing global regulations affecting the movement of eCommerce goods.
Major changes including the abolition of VAT exemptions on low value items in the UK, EU and elsewhere is impacting the way Chinese sellers, marketplaces and carriers go about their business.
4PX is determined to maintain and grow its market share in cross-border eCommerce and recognises the importance of a world-class data enhancement tool such as Zephyr in enabling them to achieve this objective.
Derek Wang, 4PX’s Director Logistics Network & Product, said: “4PX is delighted to be partnering with Hurricane Commerce and to be able to make its best-in-class cross-border data solutions available to our merchants.”
The Lenton Group selected Hurricane’s Duty and Tax calculator to support the launch of its Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) solution and its commitment to a seamless cross-border trade experience for its eCommerce customers.
The Duty and Tax calculator is available through Lenton Group’s Hub-Ez, a one-stop logistics platform for online sellers, marketplaces and others involved in cross-border eCommerce.
Pro Carrier, the cross-border delivery business of DG International, has partnered with Hurricane to ensure its retail customers’ parcels flow smoothly through customs.
The company has integrated Hurricane’s data enhancement Zephyr API and its Aura API, which supports on duty and tax calculation, prohibited and restricted goods screening and denied party screening.
